Ensemble Cherubim is a chamber choir of artists from across the United States with a deep interest in Ukrainian culture. Its recording Bortniansky, I cried out to the Lord: Hymns and Choral Concertos on the Naxos label gained critical acclaim internationally. Its live performances featuring both singers and actors at the Ukrainian Institute of America in New York, Berkeley Festival and Exhibition, New Haven Festival of Arts and Ideas, Saint John Paul II National Shrine in Washington DC, and most recently for Cal Performances at Zellerbach Hall (Berkeley, CA) have reframed perceptions of Ukrainian culture and have met with enthusiastic ovations coast to coast. Ensemble Cherubim is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
